DEPLOYMENTS
FLORIDA
North Rapid Response deployed a team that logged 1,527 miles to deliver donated personal and medical items to Hurricane Ian victims in Arcadia and Ft. Myers, Fla. on Nov. 2-5. The donations assisted three campgrounds that could house approximately 6,000 people.
Moore County
North Rapid Response’s team deployed to Southern Pines, N.C. (Moore County), a 230-mile round trip via mini-bus and automobiles to deliver supplies to residents who’d lost power because of attacks on two power substations. At Trinity AME Zion Church, NRR staff helped distribute warm meals, water, nonperishable food items, hoodies, diapers and baby wipes, hand warmers and 100 COVID-19 home test kits.
